Mind Full or Mindful? Decluttering the Busy Leader’s Mind

Harriet enjoyed sharing and learning from the HR leaders at the Human Resources Management Association (HRMA) Princeton meeting on Monday, December 9, 2019.

Attendance at this highly interactive program will allow HR professionals through direct experience to:

1.  Learn and implement tools that will enable them to join the conversation and address current organizational strategies such as the focus on employee retention and recruitment.

2. Be able to define how the practice of Mindfulness, and nonjudgmental awareness, supports positive people management practices, and

3. Explain how being able to increase self-awareness and move away from auto pilot, and to shift from a mindset of responding vs reacting, supports an environment where change management skills are routinely needed to help deal with situations that are uncertain, unclear, or chaotic.

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your attention to present moment experiences. It is actively paying attention to your thoughts, body sensations and mood in a non-judgmental way.
